Skeleton T is a skeleton who is obsessed with Japanese tea. This obsession raises many questions, considering Skeleton T does not appear to have a tongue. His common phrase is "o-cha!", meaning tea. His name also references to his tea mania.

Skeleton T has a very weak AI in the Puyo Puyo series. It's so weak that he never rotates any of his Puyo. This is emphasized in Puyo Puyo~n, as his Super Attack involves not rotating any Puyo. In Puyo Puyo!! 20th Anniversary, despite Skeleton T not appearing in this game, there is a challenge mode related to this, as the player must make a chain without rotating their Puyo.

In Puyo Puyo Fever he was replaced by Oshare Bones, another skeleton. Oshare Bones also has a very weak AI and does not rotate his Puyo.

In Kirby's Avalanche, Waddle Dee uses his AI. His AI is never used in Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine as this game does not feature a Beginner level, which is where Skeleton T is featured in.

History

Madou Monogatari 1-2-3

Skeleton T makes his first appearance in the Madou Monogatari trilogy. In the PC98 version, he wields a sword and shield, possibly to make him look less "cute".

Puyo Puyo Sun

In Puyo Puyo Sun, Skeleton T appears as the first opponent for Draco Centauros. Skeleton T is talking about his tea when Draco gets annoyed at it and breaths fire at teapot, causing all the tea inside to evaporate. Skeleton T gets incredibly frustrated about this and Draco tells him that if he has a problem, he should settle it over a Puyo match.

Minna de Puyo Puyo

In Minna de Puyo Puyo, Skeleton T appears as the first opponent for Arle in Hajimari Forest. Here, he offers Arle some tea. After Arle drinks the tea, he tells Arle that she has fallen straight into his trap, as the tea was made with some dreaded used tea bags! Arle points out how Skeleton T could even talk (and much less be able to drink tea) without a tongue.

Skeleton T appears later in the game as the 4th opponent in Satan's Castle, right before Rulue, Schezo and Satan. Arle is surprised that Skeleton T is even here as Arle tells him he is way out of his league. Despite this, they still play a round of Puyo. This late in the game, Skeleton T still hasn't figured out how to rotate his Puyo.

Puyo Puyo 7

Skeleton T appears throughout the story mode in Puyo Puyo 7, where he battles Andou Ringo in a few matches. In this game, he is accompanied by two other nameless skeletons. In Transformation, the skeletons switch places rather than transforming.

Family

Skeleton T has a brother in Madou Monogatari: Hanamaru Dai Youchienji called Skeleton D. Similar to Skeleton T's addition to tea, Skeleton D has an addiction to alcohol (since the T in Skeleton T's name refers to his tea obsession, it's possible that the D in Skeleton D's name refers to his alcohol obsession/drunkenness). He has never appeared in the Puyo Puyo series.

Puyo Puyo~n Super Attack

Super Dynamic Ocha Bomber: This attack adds a damage multiplier to your attack that starts at x1.0 and increases by 0.1 for the first Puyo placed and every two Puyo placed after that, up to a multiplier of x4.0, as long as you don't rotate any of your Puyo. Rotating your Puyo resets the damage multiplier back to x1.0 and cancels this attack.
