Rei is the younger brother of Yu, normally backing up what she says. He was missing in Puyo Puyo Fever, but is in Puyo Puyo Fever 2. He can be found outside the Post Office in this game. He and Yu share the same birthday, June 9th.
According to game documentation, Rei was happier when he was still alive.
