Oshare Bones (sometimes shortened to just Oshare) is a skeleton obsessed with fashion, and is often found critiquing the outfits of other characters. His Japanese name is a portmanteau of "oshare" (roughly "fashionable" or "stylish") and "sharekoube" (skull).
His character is based off of Skeleton T, a character from the Madou-era of the series as they are both skeletons who have a very weak AI and they both don't rotate their Puyo. Interestingly, Skeleton T replaces Oshare Bones in Puyo Puyo 7.

History
Puyo Puyo Fever
In Puyo Puyo Fever, he appears in the WakuWaku course where he critiques Amitie's appearance as she strolls through the Woods of Nahe.
Puyo Puyo Fever 2
In Puyo Puyo Fever 2, he runs the shop, where the player can purchase items that have various effects on gameplay. This game introduces some background to his character as well. A long time ago, he had a lover who suddenly disappeared one day, and to this day Oshare wishes to be reunited with him. Through a letter he writes to the player, he reveals that the Memory of Chu item was a gift to him from said lover. Oshare threw the item into the sea after his lover's disappearance, only for it to later be found by Raffine when it falls out from inside of the Shell of Memories that she obtains in her WakuWaku course.
Puyo Puyo!! 15th Anniversary
In Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary, Oshare gives additional information about him and his past. Back when he was alive, he claims to have had long, curly blond hair. However, he threw every photo of himself into the ocean and claims that seeing them again would bring back bad memories. At the end of his story, he uses his wish to someday reunite with his lover. Because of his wording, it's unknown when they will reunite, but Accord notes that a meeting is now guaranteed.
Sexuality
Oshare Bones is the first openly homosexual character in the Puyo games(Gay and Runelord only being in the Madou Monogatari series). He seems to be somewhat infatuated with Lemres, going so far as to say that had he not already met somebody in the past, he would be madly in love with him. At the end of his story in Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary, he notes that Satan looks remarkably similar to his long-lost lover, and even mistakes Satan for him at first. On top of this, one of his winning quotes against Zoh Daimaoh suggests that they date in secret, although he may merely be joking in this case as during the cutscene before their match Oshare notes that the bindi Zoh wears is traditionally worn by married women, and asks if his boyfriend taught him to wear it.
A couple games seem to suggest he has an interest in crossdressing, as well. In Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary, one of his winning quotes against Ocean Prince has him remarking that he needs to have a new dress made for the ball that Ocean Prince is apparently set to host at his palace. Also, in a letter he sends the player in Puyo Puyo Fever 2, he comments that he would someday love to wear a junihitoe, which is an elegant kimono worn by high-class women.
