From Puyo Nexus Wiki
Hohow Bird is a strange bird that makes his nest near Ta-Doon-Da Castle. He first appeared in Puyo Puyo Fever. In this game, he is one of the harder opponents, and is dubbed with a power high enough to be considered Constant Fever type. Hohow Bird has an annoying, but interesting speech quirk. In the Japanese versions, all of his voice samples are pronounced by a "Ho Ho", while the English versions have him saying "Mm-hm" in the same instances. His lines in Fever imply that he is just one of an entire species. He is also one of the few Fever characters who did not return for Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary. His birthday is December 5th. His Japanese name comes from the "Ho ho" speech impediment. His English name is a direct translation, despite "Ho-ho" being changed to "Mm-hm" in his dialogue.
Appearances
Puyo Puyo Fever
In this game, he was the sixth stage of the HaraHara Course, where he dived at Raffine on Zig-Zag Peak. Raffine dodges the attack though, and Hohow Bird gets mad, claiming she has "skill to dodge our peck attacks like that." Then he claims it's time for Raffine to take her place in the pecking order (the word "Order" is strangely omitted from the voice acting though.) A Puyo match results.
Puyo Puyo Fever 2
Hohow Bird is the owner of the second to last building, which is used for single player games.
