Feli is a female student of a magic school in a town neighboring Primp Town and a visitor who visits Primp Magic School while accompanying her upperclassman Lemres in Puyo Puyo Fever 2. Feli is questionably mysterious, and is quite skilled in the occult art of divination. She is incredibly attached to Lemres, leading to a clashing relationship with Klug.

Biography

Appearance

Feli is quite short compared to many of the other characters, standing at around Lidelle's height. Her hair is long and violet, styled into a straight hime cut. and has light blue eyes. Her attire is similar to gothic lolita, a fashion subculture that derives from Victorian-style dress.

In Puyo Puyo Fever 2, Feli wears a black, bell-skirted dress with a white collar, bloomers, brown stockings and black loafers. She wears two magenta armbands with her dress, the left one having her school emblem pinned on. A red string ribbon is tied on the back of her head, likely a nod to the "red string of fate". She carries two dowsing rods which she uses for divination.

In Puyo Puyo 7 her lolita dress is absent, wearing the Suzuran uniform in its place with a yellow tie and black skirt. The armbands, bloomers and shoes still remain. In her transformations, Feli's younger form bears a white dress with a brown teddy bear similar to Akuma, while she is a maid in her older form, similar to Risukuma, who is a butler in his older form.

In Puyo Puyo!! 20th Anniversary, she wears a lolita dress again, now with a more complex design. The dress is black and white, her stockings are now white, and her shoes are now ribboned mary-janes. The red string ribbon, while still present, is now part of her headdress. She also has an alternate character known as White Feli, whom wears a pink and white dress with large angel wings.

Personality

Feli has a rather off-putting personality as she quickly antagonizes and threatens people that aren't Lemres. She has great respect and deep affection for her upperclassman, and is overjoyed whenever he recognizes her efforts.

Tying into her themes of occultism and destiny, Feli is deeply fatalistic. She believes that her fate to be with Lemres is predetermined and unchangeable, and she's quick to threaten anyone who may try to alter or change that fate. This leads most people to be afraid of her, as she closes herself off to avoid having her fate altered.

Feli speaks rather cryptically and mysteriously, and her divination rituals come off as scary to some. She is highly affectionate to Lemres, doing all she can to obtain his in return. Due to her strong love of him, she is easily hostile to those that try to get close to him, such as Klug who idolizes him.

Abilities

Feli is capable of divination, thus, able to see into the future or past. Her spells are all divination-themed, utilizing her dowsing rods to cast them. Her divination rituals tend to be described with a cryptic air to it, making it hard to understand at face value. The spells she casts in Puyo matches include Lights, Return, Grand Trine, Chronocrator, Twelve House, Luminary, Stellium, Principal Star, Apply, Refernation, Horary, Zodiac/Benefic, Conjunction, and Significator.

Relationships

Amitie
Feli's views on Amitie are currently unknown, but in Sig's Secret Amitie notes that she resembles cute doll as well. Amitie has a difficult time understanding her, but they do not appear to be on bad terms as Amitie consults her for help with Sig in Puyo Puyo!! 20th Anniversary.
Baldanders
She accidentally summoned him in one of her spells, and Bal is incredibly loyal to her. The relationship is not mutual, however, as she doesn't seem to share the same connection.
Ecolo
Feli thinks of Ecolo as a mysterious black shadow before her in both Feli's story and Ecolo's story in Puyo Puyo!! 20th Anniversary.
Klug
As Klug has a deep respect for Lemres, Feli has a strong hatred for him for attempting to get close to Lemres. She believes that his interference may interfere with her own fate, so they have a mutual dislike of one another.
Lemres
Feli is known mainly for her strong affection toward Lemres. She commonly suggests that it is her 'fate' to be with Lemres, which Lemres kindly denies when he mentions in Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary, Lemres says that she has "the power to change fate." Granted, her relationship with Lemres is a positive one. He treats her as a young friend and looks out for her, though he's not keen on her romantic advances and attempts to sidestep them if they ever arise.
Lidelle
Feli is shown to care about Lidelle since in a drama cd she stopped fighting Klug just to comfort her and even agrees to work together with Klug to make her happy, something that has only seemed to happen when Lemres is around.
Raffina
While Feli's view on Raffina is currently unknown it is shown that the two seem to be on decent terms considering how they are able to understand eachother in 7th. It is also implied does Raffina care about Feli since in 15th she tells Feli to give up on her pursuit on Lemres since she will just end up getting her heart broken.

History

Puyo Puyo Fever 2

Feli makes her debut appearance in this game as she's accompanying Lemres who is visiting the Primp Magic School to deliver some items to Ms. Accord. It is in this game where she's also accompanied by Baldanders, who she accidentally summoned while casting a spell. She's encountered during Raffina's WakuWaku course where she assumes the prince Raffina is searching for is Lemres, and challenges her to a Puyo battle. She's encountered again by Amitie during her HaraHara course by the Clandestin Mansion, where Feli is reciting some sort of dark, unreadable, incomprehensible spell. She fights Amitie upon realizing she's being watched.

Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary

Feli wishes that Lemres stops aging until she becomes old enough to hold a relationship with him.

Puyo Puyo Tetris

Puyo Puyo Chronicle

Feli is encountered in the Yellome Desert along with Lemres. She is suspected by the party to be the one to have caused the incident in Yellome, and was the one to steal Yellome's stone. When encountered, Lemres is relieved to have found her as they were together prior to being sent to Chronicle's world and were separated upon arrival.

During her master quest, she plays an excavation match with Lemres, who congratulates her on how her Puyo skills have improved. She even manages to receive a compliment from Schezo, who was accompanying them into the desert.

Trivia

  • Her birthday, November 13th, may relate to her causing of bad luck on others due to the number 13's relationship with misfortune. It is also "World Kindness Day", which is somewhat ironic considering her behavior.
  • Feli's Dropset is the first (And until 20th Anniversary, the only) in the series to not begin with the I Piece. She shares the trait of having an irregular Dropset with Witch and Sonic, and also Sultana, who shares Feli's Dropset.
  • While playing under Fever rule, AI Feli (as well as White Feli) begins a match by immediately sending a very small number of Nuisance Puyo to the opponent. This is likely a byproduct of her dropset; her third Puyo is a Big Puyo, which would guarantee a 1-chain in almost all situations.
  • Oddly, in Puyo Puyo Tetris, despite Raffina being the first character to act strangely towards the Starship Tetra, Feli is the first character to be cured.
  • Alternate voice notes:
    • In Puyo Puyo Tetris, her voice become higher-pitched, and more reminiscent of White Feli.
      • In the English version, her voice becomes slightly raspy and she sounds more energized.
    • In Puyo Puyo Chronicle, her voice become lower-pitched, and more reminiscent of her Mega Puyo Rush voice in Puyo Puyo 7.
    • In Puyo Puyo Tetris 2, her voice becomes very light and soft, almost like she is whispering.
      • In the English version, her voice becomes hoarse and she sounds more manic, almost like a witch.
  • During the pre-release promotion of Puyo Puyo Tetris 2, the English Puyo Puyo Official Twitter account initially claimed that Feli was "Amitie's goth classmate" in her character spotlight. The account later stated that it was a typo and was meant to describe her as Lemres' classmate, matching her description from Puyo Puyo Fever 2.
