Compile

Compile was founded in 1983, originally named Programmers-3 and was founded by Masamitsu Niitani, otherwise simply known as 'Moo'. (if you check around the net you can find pictures of Moo dressed up as Satan from Puyo/Madou.) Mostly known for their puzzle game Puyo as well as several shmups and dungeon crawlers the company had to declare bankruptcy and disbanded in 2002. After members and games were taken on by other companies. Most notably is the Puyo series taken over by Sega. Milestone Inc. focuses on arcade shoot 'em ups and took over Compile's shmup based seires.

Compile Heart hopes to revive the Compile brand name with the assistance of former Compile employees like Puyo Puyo creator 'Moo'
